Hi williams3.. I also have crohns and gerd.. The diet for either can be tricky.. I have found that I have to avoid all spicy foods cause of both.. I can not eat corn. nut, seeds (cucumbers, tomatoes etc..), fried foods, red meat, pork, i have to drink 2% or 1% milk whole milk kills me, cokes are suppose to be bad for both but cokes help me with my gerd for temp relief, beans, cabbage, anything with a skin (grapes.. etc), apples, corn chips.
This is what I have found I can not eat.. Crohns and Gerd both vary from person to person when it comes to diet so alot will be trial and error.. Somedays i can eat a little of something and the next day it the same and it will flare my crohns. So there is really no diet for crohns. If you lose weight easy you might want to drink boost with proten to supplement..
If have to wants the recipes you get that are good for your gerd because they may have stuff in them that will make you flare..
I hope this helps some.
