Just Feeling really sick dealing with Psoratic Arthritis!!!!!

I was diagnosed with psoratic arthritis in January 2008 I have arthritis in my ankles, feet, elbows lower back, hands, fingers, neck and shoulders and have psoraisis in my scalp my upper eyelids sometimes.  they started me on 3 methotrexate pills and meloxicam didn't work then I the methotrexate was increased to 5 pills per week and was given Enbrel Injections 1x weekly and prednisone that didn't work and when my monthly Blood work was done my liver was a bit swollen so they lowered my methotrexate back to 3 pills per week still not feeling well then I was taken off enbrel and put on remicade infusions and my methotrexated was increased back up to 4 pills per week still not feeling well my arthirtis was severly inflamed wher I couldn't walk and barely get out of bed so my rheumatologist took me out of work for 1 week I had my 3rd infusion on June 16th and my methotrexate has been increased to 6 pills per week and im still swollen in ankles and feet really bad where it hurts soooo bad to walk and my fingers are so swollen it hurts to do anything evrything falls out of my hands I have hardly any strength in my hands when I went to my last infusion appt my blood pressure was a bit elevated and since that appt I have been feeling dizzy,Lightheaded, Nauseated sometimes It's sooo bad i vomit, I have severe bad headaches every day, and I'm extremely exhausted all the time every day. I have bad stomach aches whre I'm huntched over in a fetal position and I have lots of abdominal pain. I'm soooo sick of being sick I don't know what else to do I stopped taking the prednisone because it wasn't helping. I go to work because I need to pay my bills because I have 3 minor children a mortgage and other responsibilities and because of the eceonomy and paying all these bills like everyone else gas, oil etc.... I had to cancel 1 appointment so far with my rheumatologist because I can't afford the co pay for the visit because I have to pick and choose what's more important the visit with the Dr or my medicine. Can anyone help!!! suggestions, anyone going through this too and what did you do.  PLease Help Me. Thanks PR Glo  

sorry to hear you are in so much pain..pred is usually the gold standard for fast treatment of inflammation ( I love pred!) It is unusual that it did not work on you?? I'm sorry I don't know anything about your type of arthritis but your meds are similar to mine. Have you tried Plaquenil? It is just like Yally said with trying and trying until you find the right combo, and it is so true about having bad days, I have had my share, and they are so horrible and unpleasant.  Maybe call your doctor's office and explain your situation and see what they say..
