I have had crohns for 9 years..after being sick 8 of those years and trying every medication out there i am finally on humira but...i have had psorisis really bad since i have started..on my head and now its spread to my belly button....although my dr.said humira helps this skin condition..i wonder if i am not drinking enough water or what..please any feedback would greatly be appriciated!!!!!!thanks

That sounds odd, first because Humira usually does a great job clearing psoriasis, and second because those are unusual places for psoriasis to start. I would get a second opinion, from a dermatologist, as to whether these plaques are psoriasis.

I've not personally tried Humira. It's something that I'm still doing more research on before I actually try it. But I feel pretty safe in saying that I doubt that it's a lack of water. Psoriasis can be antagonized by not taking care of ourselves (improper diet, stress on the body) but psoriasis is not caused by dehydration.
Mine started in an "odd" place as well. It was dead in the center of my chest. But I know that mine is hereditary. So, I wasn't surprised when I started developing it.
I have to agree with psAinCanada and would suggest getting a dermatologist's opinion.

thanks..i went to a dermatolofist and on meds..but its not clearing just spreading!
