psoriasis on hands and feet.. could it be exzema? does it matter?

eczema/psoriasis can be caused by fungus. Have you tried fungal treatments? -an antifungal diet?

I had psoriasis 11 years ago. It was only on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. I had all the symptoms you described. I remember my hands and feet would get so painfully itchy that I all I wanted to do was run a sharp object over them to stop the itching. They would crack and bleed a lot. It was awful, I was so embarrassed to have to shake someone's hands. I tried every treatment.

Ironically, the only thing that worked to get rid of the psoriasis is I was hit by a car (as a pedestrian in a crosswalk) and it cleared up almost instantly.

I, too, suffer from UC (for past 13 years).

Hi. I am from the UC boards. I had this almost 20 years ago after the birth of my daughter. I was told it was pustular psoriasis. It was just on my hands and my feet. I would have thick layers of skin peeling off the bottom of my feet after the bubbles would pop. I think I was prescribed a cortisone cream at the time. Now I only occasionally get a few bubbles on my hand. I remember at the time my hands would get so sore it was difficult to put my hand into my pocket.
