Hatmaker that is wonderful news about the HIDA Scan, so glad it came back normal. WOW, negative labs, so now you can get back on the Humira and mtx, awesome. Yes, I think you are headed in the right direction by having the CT done, I have also had one done too. If the CT comes back negative, I am with you, no more tests and stressing over having them. Kind of like, if it ain't broke don't fix it thing, lol. Thats been my motto, lol.
I have crohns disease and have had more than my fair share of scopes and believe me on this one, the prep is 100 times worse than the test itself. Ask anyone with crohns or UC and they will tell you the same thing, lol. A friend of mine just has her routine scope done and she called me before hand. I told her drinking all that nasty stuff and having to camp out in the bathroom was the pits, lol. She agreed with me later and we had a good laugh. I am given light sedation and never remember a thing and thats the way one should be. I am not going to be one of those that says oh, I don't need no sedation I want to watch the monitor, not me, knock me out with a sledge hammer if you have to, My gi dr cracks up when I tell him that. When the nurse tells me its lights out, she is not joking either.
Let me know what you find out about your CT. By the way, the olive oil is helping my right elbow somewhat, the skin is beginning to soften up and I am able to scrub the excess without making it sore. But now, I have noticed more lotions and liquid soaps with olive oil in them, how about that one, lol. Take care...Susie
