Psoriatic Arthritis

Hi! I have a quick question. I have some joint pain and slight pitting on a few of my nails. I have no skin issues though. Does anyone have this? Does Psoriatic Arthritis cause a high ANA? Mine was 1:640 and speckled, all other labwork was normal.

I had that. No skin issues until 25 years after dx. Had joint pain and pitted fingernails so they called it PA. I have no idea what my ANA is/was so I can't be if help there. Sorry.

Why your doctor asked you to do ANA?

My husband has psoriasis and he has a lot of rush on feet and hands. Recently he has been complaining about joint pain. The dr didn't ask for ANA. What I know about ANA is related to me. i have vitiligo and autoimmune thyroid and one doctor made me a lot of immunology tests and he found ANA positive, so he suspected me lupus and asked for other test as anti DNA ds or anti Sm. They come all positive so he told me that i can develope a lupus in the future. He couldn't put me the dx for sure becausr I don't show off any phisical symptoms. so if you have ANA positive do more reshearching because he asked ne if I have joints pain...
