I've had the strangest thing happening for the last couple of years.
My hair is totally changing.

Growing up I had long thick hair with very little wave to it. I wanted very curly hair until I got a perm and looked like a poodle. So I was satisfied with my straight hair.

Now my hair has been slowly becoming thinner and curly. The curls started at my neckline and has so far moved up my head until I have a "Trump" patch of straight hair on top, but every thing else is curly. smhair

What I want to know if anyone with psoriasis on their scalp has has their hair to totally change? shakehead

I take plaquinel and Leflunomide for my PsA.

I read one article that doctors aren't sure what causes it, but it could be thyroid related. I was wondering if it was common for people with PsA lesions on their scalp.

I feel better on plaquinel and I don't care if I go completely bald as long as my pain and swelling is reduced.

The sores on my scalp is annoying but I don't mind if it gets curly.

Yes I have psoriasis on my scalp and I notice that my hair doesn't really grow anymore. It's very thick but it never grows past my shoulders
