Most powerful topical rx for arthritis joint pain?

Hi All,

I am new to this arthritis forum but not to the forum itself.

I have sacroillitis and have had it for 14 years. Degeneration L1-5 and SI joints etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum.

My current go to for topical is volaren gel. Is there anything else anyone would recommend? Nothing with capsasian in it, please. Seems to irritate.

Voltren is the one seen used most often and I am on the pills as well as the cream. My Dr however allows me to use it in 3 month periods and off 2 as he says it loses efficiency with continued use and does better if used in moderation. Been doing this for over a year and so far so good.
