Hi delilahblue
I underwent bilateral hip replacement last August. I have been back at work since October 20th. I am still working out all of the kinks after surgery. My gait was horrible due to limping about in pain for several months. I also have OA in both feet and lymphadema. Having said all that, the surgery was the right way to go for me. I was in excrutiating pain from AVN in both hips. That pain is now gone.
Give yourself more time, keep up the physical therapy. Your body has been through ALOT following THR. My surgeon told me it was normal for other aches and pains to start up during recovery. You are probably walking differently and this will stress other joints in your body. That's what happened with me, again, totally normal...
But, do give yourself more time. Have you spoken with your surgeon re: this?
