"Gosh darn" heat!

Okay, so we're having near-record heat with dew points in the 70's. This earth is becoming uninhabitable for humans, IMO. Both my joints and my muscles hurt, and I know it has to be the weather. Please, can we have something closer to normal, rather than extra-cold in the winter and extra-hot in the summer?

I will have a word with the meterologist requesting a break in the heat waves.  

I understand your frustration...........we get a day of relief from humidity only to have it come back with a vengenance.

Hi Judy2 (my name is Judi too!) LOL! Ohhhhhhhh yes this heat is horrible! I'm down here in Texas and it got to 108 here today with the heat index (feels like) 112. It just takes your breath away. I've been staying in the house with the a/c full-blast. And I have to go outside to give my poor dogs ice about 3 x a day and change their water, as it gets hot for them. We need some relief...soooon. And yes, I have been having more pain than usual. Not only my typical back pain, but my joints ache all over. So I agree with you, I think the heat does have an affect on pain. Try and stay cool and take care.

howdy...i lived in both san antonio and houston. houston is very humid and i found that worse...but of course i was older also.

now it can not get too cold for me in upstate new york. keep hoping it will improve. i live near the hudson river and it is very humid here too.

We are in Texas and someone up there is pushing us towards breaking the 42nd straight day of over 100 since 1980. Looks like we will break record on Saturday. I didn't connect the heat with my pain. Thanks for letting me know. Both my husband and my self were wondering why our bodies were hurting so much.

In February we had 5 snow days in a row and now we are breaking heat records... all withing 6 months of each other!

I come from Ontario Canada and was just thinking that this whole Texas heat thing much be too much!
