shoulder replacement- I have had a hemi-cap ball replacement in my shoulder 5 years ago. I need now a total replacement however half my socket is worn away from bone to bone rubbing. They need to take a chunk of bone from hip and glue, screw, cement it to the worn away socket surface to have enough surface to put a new socket on. 2 Months later they will attempt a total shoulder replacement. I have one of the best surgeons in Boston and he will only guarantee 80% success. Worst case once they are in there is reverse replacement which is not good being only 59 years old. Anyone have anything similar?
Edit: I gave your thread a title :)
