I need more info to try to help..... what caused you to need a hip replacement on the right side and what does drilling mean on your left? I have a hip replacement on my right side and i have back pain. Mine is caused by one leg being longer than the other after the surgery. It does cause back pain that really hurts. Somedays alot worse than others and i have pain meds that somedays offer relief, but not enough. My injury started out as a fractured leg that was fixed surgically but caused another medical issue that caused the need of a hip replacement. Plz post a little more details and maybe their are some similarities. The doctors took 7 months to figure out that my complaints after the first surgery were not in my head but real and alot of complaining and questions before they figured out that they had fracured my leg in a second spot and near my hip. This is what caused the condition that caused my hip to literally start crumbling, which led to the hip replacement, which led to still having pain but in my back do to the unevenness of my walking or gait as they called it. And owe by the way- i also had a tremendous amount of knee pain until I started wearing a lift inside my shoe. this did help some. Hopefully this helps, if not I ill watch for your reply. Good luck, I hope it gets better for you. And just for comparison, I was in good health and only 35 years old at the time.
