Hi all, I have a question. I need to know what type of doctor can accurately diagnose sacroilitis. My back story is I am 24 years old and a mother of two. In June of 2012 I woke up in the worst back pain I have ever felt. I had my first child at 20 and he was a big boy. I am a very very small women, 5'3 and 100 pounds. He got stuck on the way out and the doctor told me he was too big to fit through my hips and doesn't know how he was able to fit through. During his birth it felt like someone was ripping my hips apart. Had my second child at 22 in October of 2012. Had a c-section due to the complications with my first delivery. I have been to a general doctor, physical thearpist and I am currently in pain management. Ever since June of 2012 I have been in constant pain. The pain is in my lower back right where my back and butt meets. I also have horrible pain in both my hips. Both physical therapists I have seen have both said my hips are constantly out of alignment causing my left leg to be longer than my right. My left hip over rotates and my right hip barely moves at all. All of this is believed to have aggravated my is joints and caused the back pain. I have had countless blood tests, two x-rays and an MRI that all came back normal. I want to know what type of doctor could help pinpoint whether I indeed do have sacroilitis or if it is something else. I want a definitive diagnoses because my pain management doctor refuses to give me the dosage of tramadol I was getting in a different state and it makes my nights miserable. I have tried pt, is joint injections once which seems to have made it worse and every narcotic known to man. The only thing that helps is either narcotics which I prefer not to take or the tramadol. Any help, or advice would be great. I feel I am way to young to have these kinds of issues and it seems doctors dont take what I say seriously because of my age. My pain is real no matter what number my age is.
