Calling in sick on a bad asthma day

I think you just sound like you sound. Some people don't understand that you don't have to be wheezing and coughing to be having a bad asthma day. On some of my worst asthma days, I don't have enough air moving to wheeze. That's when I am in real trouble.

macrip 3 never be afraid to call in sick if your asthma is even showing signs of flaring up.I have allergy asthma for 20+ years and been hospitalised many times.i was always struggling into work gasping for breathe and then after my last bad attack decided to see my headmistress of school i taught at and told her my asthma problems and how it affected me and my role as a teacher.She was amazed i had been so ill for so long and was fantastic .i was so much more relaxed having told the boss and believe it or not my asthma improved significantly because i could call in to say i would be late or abscent without the constant worry of making excuses.asthma is an awful disease and unless you explain to others how it can affect you they will not understand...be brave and explain your condition..you will be surprised at the support you will recieve...go for it..be healthy groovey.
