Recovering from asthma attack after pest control spray

I have had a bad Asthma attack after the pest control man came last monday to spray the inside and outside of our house for bugs. I began to get the same feeling when my mother bleaches the bathroom floor.

My Question is why do I feel so tired and lethargic for 48 hours after this sensation?

I think the malaise (tired and lethargic feeling) you are describing is a normal "side-effect" of a bad Asthma attack. Your body is trying to tell you to take it easy while it restores itself back to normal functioning.

hi macrip 3...So sorry you are suffering at the moment.I have suffered from household detergents and sprays for the last 20 years or more and as daft as it may sound I do all my cleaning wearing a little face mask that I buy at my hardware store.Looks strange to others but protects me from the fumes and smells....so I dont care...I sometimes if in a silly mood I draw faces on the mask ...it make the grandchildren laugh...As Razzle said the tiredness is the bodies way of saying...chill out...relax and let me get better.. be healthy and happy...groovey

I almost have had an asthma attack at work. Today, one of our CSMs asked me "How are your allergies over here?" meaning on the speedy checkouts rather than the big grocery registers across from the Hair and Nail salons. This place is something else.

I need to relax when I feel this way, but I cannot afford to take off the day from work. I don't want to get fired for being sick.

i hear you with all the pollution you are exposed to. think it is good that you are away from the nail and hair dressing groups because that has a lot of pollution.

i would suggest that you try to relax...stop worrying about having another attack. try to do something pleasant on your free time and try to get into some good air (outside air) whenever you can.

I felt terrible this morning at work and one of the CSMs tried to convince me to go home. I felt a little better after I sit down. I think it must be the mother instinct in her. Good knowledgable people.

I must have a bug inside of me or something.
