allergic to tomatos and love them so much

i just found out im allergic to tomatoes. I miss regular pizza, lasagne, spaghetti, ketchup or just having a few on salad. does anyone know of a great site for tomato free traditional tomato recipes? or a book? ihave looked and not ofund much. it seems most re allergic to nuts, dairy, and wheat. any suggestions? thanks,

A chef once made me lasagna with tomato-free sauce. He cooked beets, peeled them, pureed them, and mixed in all the spagetti sauce spices, garlic, olive oil, etc., then made the lasagna using this beet sauce. The lasagna was wonderful. I don't have an exact recipe, but some experimentation may be kinda fun ;) You might also like Borscht - it is beet soup (to replace tomato soup).
