I've had experience with doctors being unable to identify the problem, majorly. It could be a coincidence. I'm not sure. The best thing to do is go off whatever new supplements or foods you introduced to your diet when these symptoms started and see if you feel better.
Also, a great way to manage acid reflux is to mix apple cider vinegar or lemon juice with water before each meal, or at least before breakfast.
You can also, once you're feeling better, reintroduce each thing back into your diet, one at a time, to see what the true culprit is. However, that can be risky, especially if it's an allergy.
