Hi, I have had a rash that started four years ago on both side of my neck, red and itchy. I went to my doctor and they could not be bothered with finding out what it was...now for years later it has spread down my neck and to my chest. It is red and itchy and is worse in the summer. In summer it feels like a burn.
I finally was referred to a alergist and she said she has never seen anything like it. Now when inflammed it looks red and scaly without being that way, but is so painful when inflammed. I have a new doctor and he is not interested in finding out the cause or what I can do to rid myself of it. It was determined that it is not food related.
After all these years I still have not been about
to see a dermatologist. I have tried creams, lotions, aloe vera(which burns) and have put cold compresses on it and it is now spreading down my chest.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have asthma but I was told it is not asthma related. How do I know it is not some kind of skin cancer?
