Nebulisers - stupid questions...

Wife uses one when admitted to hospital but I understand you can get home ones?

Few questions:-

1. Do you have to buy your own or will NHS provide?
2. What about what goes in the nebuliser? I presume you need a prescription for this?
3. Are the home ones as good as ones in hospital?

I live in USA and I had to have a doctor's perscription for one.
The medicine is a perscription.
My home one is great. It's suppose to work the same as the doctor's.

I got a prescription for a nebulizer from my doctor. I had to call a company who makes them and put in an order. I also got a prescription for the steroid and antibiotic to put in it. The company provided these as well.

I've never had one from the hospital but my home one is great. It has been the only thing to work for my allergies.
