Seem to have huge amounts of mucous in my throat leading to constant throat clearing. Makes me sound hoarse, breathing doesn't feel normal either, wheezy, possibly because air is passing over mucous. I thought it might be post-nasal drip but the odd thing is (or it seems odd to me) is that I have no issues sleeping, the problem kicks in during the day. Throat clearing can be every 5 min to almost every minute at times. Taking cetirizine and beconase nose spray for a week with no effect so far. Does anyone know if post-nasal drip is worse during the day? I can see some logic in that, because you are upright and mucous can drain downwards. Also, I'm not sure you can tell where phlegm is coming from- sinuses or lungs? It just seems to appear in quantity from nowhere.
