I am sorry your having such a problem. I usually carry benedryl with me. That helps the allergic reaction. I am allergic to dogs also and now need to find a home for my two year old sheltie. It will cause some emotiona stress him leaving, but I have to think of my health.
You have been so kind to me to answer questions. I hope this has helped. I know it's not good to take a lot of meds, but the benedryl helps. I am allergic to Kiwi too. yeah weird. I tried it years ago and was ok with it, love the fruit. But then the next time I ate it, my eyes started swelling, my throat and eats tingled. I thought this was ridiculous being allergic to this. My husband and I thought it was the spray they put on the fruit, so the next year I bought some more, my family loves it and I washed it good. I tried it again and well this time the same thing happened. So I don't eat anything with kiwi in it. I don't even drink teas or things with the flavoring in. MY friend actually got upset that I didn't eat her fruit salad one time. My husband came to the rescue on that.
thank you again for all the kindness you gave to me this week. I did go see the allergy asthma doc yesterday, he was of no help except he called the family doc and wanted me to be checked out for heart problems, well I had two stress tests done withint the last three years and it showed nothing. I also went to the ENT about my throat and he wasn't much help either. But he is checking my thyroid levels. But I am afraid if it shows low normal again they won't persue it at all.
I did however read that infectious esophogitis will give chest pain and throat problems if left untreated. Sadly I had an endoscope done and I have it, but the gastro doc told me when I woke up that he didn't need to see me again. Now I am afraid this could be the problem. The pain in my chest and into my back are very bad today. It started Wednesday.
Thank you again Chartreux
Blessings
