My doctor was no help so hopefully someonelse could help..... It all started 6 months ago or so when i developed a sinus infection which caused alot of mucus. The doctor gave me antibiotics and the infection cleared up but the mucus seemed to stay around... about two weeks ago i was walking outside with my friends. It was a cold day and about five minutes into the walk i could feel mucus in my throat and sinus area. I would try to spit up as much mucus as i could but eventually i would throw up , and after i did that i would feel pretty good for a while, But this isnt the first time this has happened ,even running inside on the treadmill i would get the same result. Playing sports such as hockey would be a hard task , i would have to come off a sit on the bench for a while and spit up mucus or else i would throw up . This has been going on for about four months.
My last doctor said it could Possibly be asthma related but didnt give me any puffer or anything , he said he didnt really no what was wrong with me . My lungs where clear and healthy. His Solution to this was to tell me to stay out of the cold as much as possible. I live in Newfoundland so thatS basically impossible. Appreicate it if anyone has any advice in what i should do.
