Pins, You are obviouslly still a lovely young woman and you have your whole life ahead of you even with the wretched asthma.First of all accept that your physical activities will to a degree be limited at time because of the asthma...but it does not have to rule your life....there are many olympic athletes who are asthmatic but still complete to an amazing level....the important thing is to accept you have asthma and that there are meds to control it most of the time. Then set yourself a small physical activity goal and complete it until you can do it without the coughing and wheezing...slowly increase your activity day by day and reward yourself for every achievement....a new nail varnish or lipstick...something simple.
Try to get your family or best friend to support you and dont give up....you can do it.Discuss your exercise plan with your doc or health support and go for it.After 20 years of asthma I am now back swimming 1/2 mile a day and walking every weekend....3 miles. It wont be easy to begin with but the more you exercise your lungs the stronger they will become.Try to eat lots of fish foods, white meat, vegetables.tomatoes, celery, onions, honey and any fruits and keep of the junk food...go for it gal....keep in contact...grooveyxxx
