terrible nasal/perfume allergy............need urgent help

i have gone to alot of ents,ive had xyzal,rhilor-d,and now singulair,but i saw online how many people reported side effects of it.im a clinical depression patient and i take zyprexa,ativan,paxil and inderal......i have nasal allergy and im sensitive to all smells these daysmy throat swells up and its is difficult to take my breath down to lungs.......i dont want to take singulair because of all the sideeffects....is zyrtec gud,my moms been taking it for a long while and she luves it but she has a different sort of allergy,she has a runny nose and sneezes,will zyrtec work for my allergy 2..... as in will it make my breathing better,i checked with the pulmonologist,he gave me singulair 2:p and said i had no asthma.......please giveme an effective medicine for my allergy with minimum sideeffects as possible,especially reproductive organ ones;) thanks

My Husband has taken Zyrtec for a long time and has no side-effects from it. It does help his allergies (both food and inhalant allergies), and he knows it when he misses a dose accidentally. If I were you, I'd give it a try. He also takes Singulair for his allergies and Asthma, and has no side-effects from that as well. I don't know that it helps with his allergies as much as it helps his Asthma.

I would encourage you to consult with an Allergist if you have not already done so ~ they are usually more knowledgeable about allergy treatments.

You may also want to consider consulting a Naturopathic Physician to address causes of allergies. Some people have found a lot of help for reducing their allergy symptoms by dealing with systemic health issues.
