Weird tick or flick feeling on side of head ~ help!

I don't know which forum area this soulda been in but I'm desperat

Since yesterday I've had this weird sort of flicking feeling kinda like when a nerve starts kinda vibrating or flicking on ur foot or something but it's on my head!! I checked for ticks etc.. But I don't feel any- but i really wouldnt knoe if i did!
weirdly enough when it starts up and I move by hand towards it and touch the area it stops! Then I move my hand away after a min or 2 it starts up again!!!!

I've never had this before help!!!

I get that too on occasion. I call them brain twitches! lol It's really annoying but for me they are usually short lived. If I am not mistaken, there is a nerve that runs along the side of your head and down your neck. If you have any neck issues, this nerve can act up. If it continues or becomes painful, go to the doc to find the cause.

A good chiropractor may also be helpful...
