Hello for a 3 months i have had constant saliva which builds up in throat.i have to bring it up to my mouth and swallow it and sometimes it gets thicker and then goes back to saliva. I have been taking nasal spray for 1 month and it hasn't helped yet Could this be a allergy?

It could be post nasal drip or mucous produced from acid reflux. If it continues, you should talk to your doctor.

Yes, I agree it could be reflux. It could also be a reaction to a specific trigger which causes the esophagus and stomach to react and refluxing to start.

Does this occur day and night, all the time, or can you pinpoint when you get the reaction? Have you started a new medicine or a new food or drink in the last 3 months? The nasal spray can have ingredients that worsen an allergic or sensitivity reaction.

I would see an allergist and maybe a gastroenterologist. I would also be keeping a log of when the reaction occurs and what I was eating or doing before it started.
