anyone have sinuses hurt to the touch bad from allergies?

 think it's sinuses but they've never hurt so bad to the touch. i always think the worst as in if i have a sinus infection (but i don't feel clogged up).  i mean it's painful.  it's under my left eye on the bone.

mold is up in my town and i'm allergic but llike i said i've never experienced this kind of pain from my sinuses.  no headache though.  weird.  i'm worried.  my eye was hurting a few days off and on last week. 

anyone experience this?

No, I have never experienced that. Are you on nasal sprays for your allergies? If so, which one?

Are you also on oral allergy meds? The reason I am asking is because there has only been a couple times where I had the pain you are referring to, but I had a cold and use Afrin to help clear my sinus passages so I could sleep. Sometimes the pain would be unbearable but eventually it would fade. But my allergies, nor my allergy meds cause this type of pain. Perhaps you should go to the doctor if it continues. Pain is our body's way of telling us that something is wrong and we shouldn't ignore it.

Every time I've had pain like this it's been an infection. Your ENT doc can take a sample for culture. It doesn't hurt. It's cheaper than getting an MRI or CT.

Amoxicillin never cleared up my infections, biaxin and other common prescriptions didn't either, but doxycycline seems to work.

I haven't had much help from daily sinus washes either, even with steroids in them.

I have and had brutal sinus pressure this year. Mine is on the side infront and below my ear hurts to the touch. Right now I'm on singulair , nasal rinse, reactine, steroid nasal spray. But I also went to my doctor and an ENT to make sure. No ct scan the ENT looked up my nose and said it was literally almost swollen shut, she also said that 2012 is a record breaking year for allergies? So I accepted this for now, plus I've had 6 blood test , 2 urine,7 X-rays, 2 mris , one gastroscope test.. After all that I'd of thought they would have found something but nada nothing. I'm just happy the post nasal drip is gone

Haven't experienced it. But I know the feeling of having a sinus problem, I cannot even sleep nor eat.

I have had that type of pain in my face before. Something that my grandmother always had us do that works really well, is to heat up large grain salt (canning salt, epsom salts), in a brown paper bag in the microwave ( not too hot), and hold it on your face for 8-10 minutes or until cooled... It helps draw out the infection ( if there is one), and relieves nay pressure building up.
This year has been the WORST year for my allergies..my doc finally put my on xyzal 2x a day, spiriva, flonase, and another inhaler...Eyes still burn, ears still plugged and i have bronchitis AGAIN... I hate allergies...
