Understanding Inhalers for Asthma

Asthma and lung diseases are very serious medical problems that can actually cause death in certain situations if not well controlled with medications.

What medications and Inhalors do you use to help control your asthma?

Do you know your medications and what they are doing for you?

I've been using an Advair Inhalor for several years now to control my asthma and my COPD - and I have an Albuterol Inhalor for emergencies and a nebulizer when needed.

There are so many medications for asthma today, what helps you?

Albuterol Inhaler

"Albuterol is in a class of medications called beta-agonists. It works by relaxing and opening air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe.

I did use an inhaler then my LUng Doctor changed me to Advair 250/50 twice a day and 3 times when I relly need it. Been on Advair for going on 2 years this Oct. Thanks for the links Teri.
