Hi everyone,
So long story short, I live with 3 cats, after 4 years of having them, my asthma came back and I developed allergies to them. for about a year now I have been getting shots and put on asthma meds. So the last month has been the best month ever, I did not once use my rescue inhaler, and my allergies got so much better, i only take allergy pills every few days (instead of daily). So I was on 1 singulair daily, 4 puffs (2 am and 2 pm) of lower dose of symbicort. I went to see my doc feeling so hopeful and at first she was as excited as me, even suggesting to start reducing my meds, until she made me blow air hard and she listened to my chest. She said she can still hear a wheeze which means my lungs have inflammation and this means, even though i feel fantastic, my asthma is worse, and now it went from mild/moderate to moderate/sever. She upped my symobicort to the highest dose and put me on perdisone for 3 days, I am suppose to go see her in 2 weeks. Since she told me about my asthma, I have not been feeling right but i kind of think it is in my head... anyways, how can I be feeling so great , and even jog without the need of my inhaler and at the same time she thinks it got worse? i am really worried and unsure of what to think... any tips? i m feeling so down!
