Treating allergies?

Greetings,

I spend most of my time on the prostate cancer forum. I've had prostate cancer and lung cancer, but I have come to realized I suffer with allergies as well.

There are times I have horrible head aches and dizziness. After many test to rule out brain cancer, I went to a chiropractor to help me with neck pain and arm numbness. She uses a method called neurolink. I call it voodoo. Anyway she determined I had an allergy to dairy. I would have head aches at night. I use to have some toast and a large glass of milk before bed. I quit diary. The frequency and severity of my head aches almost disappeared. However, now they are back, so I went back to her and she said I was allergic to grass, ragweed, and pollen. Great! I can't quit breathing, so now what? I am taking a 12 hour sudafed twice a day, it helps with the head aches, but now sleep is hard to come by.

Has anyone here had to deal with this?

Chartreux, yes I get cardio screening every year. The cardiologist is who discovered my lung cancer. I get a full work up, including a tread mill stress test, and ultra sound blood flow. They tell me I don't need to come every year, and I tell them I come because they saved my life. I'm going to an ent on Monday. Believe me, when you've had cancer, heart troubles don't worry me too much. Thanks for the reply

I've been to a neurologist, no help there. I am going to see what the ent has to say on Monday, then go from there. Thank for the reply.

Just a heads up, but when the ent sticks that fiber optic tube up your nose its very uncomfortable...so expect some pain and discomfort.

Oh, hey, if you can find natural "honey" from a local bee farmer in your area it helps with allergies they say 1 tsp a day, it's all natural and good for you, provided your not allergic to honey...might help, but you have to stick with it, a tsp every morning...
