Hi. I have this wried things where if it's too cold somewhere I start to react: shivering, numb skin, tight and numb throat, difficulty breathing. My body will wake up like this if I'm sleeping in a cold room. If I drink something cold, my throat gets numb and my stomach becomes upset.
If I cover up with lots of blankets, the reaction slowly stops. I have to wait for cold drinks and food to become room temperature.
My mother has the exact same issue. It this part of something with an underlying cause, or a reaction to the cold? Both mine and my mother's thyroid has been thoroughly checked.
I appreciate your time,
Thank you.
