What is a normal peak flow for asthma sufferers?

Hello everyone,
Can I ask about what do your peak flow run when they are normal?
I am 5'8", 120. Mine run between 380 and 400.

hi i am 5'9'', 118 and mine go from 280-390

I'm 5'5" and 130 lbs (Ouch. xD) and on a really good day I'll get somewhere between 380-430. That's on a really good day. But in general they go all over the place, from 250-430, so I can't really say what's "normal" for me, it's always changing! Just depends how well I'm doing. The season seems to make a little difference as well.

Mine are anything between 180 and 310 at the moment. I'm five feet and 150lbs (I know, too many steroids!) Last year I was hitting 350 fairly regularly but I've had control problems since Spring.

mine are around 390 430 mostly. Not so good days 350 then take albuterol inhaler and it jumps to 400. MY doc does't seem to like to use peak flow meters with me. i demand one anyways.

cool   Hello Everyone!! on the subject of Peak Flows. I want to get a good  quality one. Do I have to have a doctors prescription for it? Or can I buy on like at a drug store? I have not been breathing well last few days ago. I think its my sinus draining again. I don't have good sinuses. Never have. Anyhow, I need some advice. Can anyone help me a little? Id appreciate it. I am 5'8'' 200lbs. Thanks.

Have you asked your doc to see if they can give you one? My son's doc gave him one and I guess it's ok, I really don't know much about them but heck it was free! smile
