hello everyone, my eyes hurt, I have always had pretty bad sinus problems and allergy problems, I am allergic to everything, anyways when I move my eyes side to side it really hurts behind them like a straining feeling or something, my eyes also feel fevered or something, does anyone know what im talking about?? I had an actual eye exam recently and it isnt anything with my actual eye, I get sinus headaches too like right on my eye, do you think it is all sinus related???

Welcome! Sorry to hear your feeling pretty bad!
Do your eye's still hurt after you take your allergy meds? Are you taking any allergy medications and have you spoken with your allergist about your eye's hurting? I'm not a doctor, However it could be allergy related and/or sinus related. You might want to check it out with your allergist first then go and see your ENT. Good luck to you.
Let us know how your doing. Make sure you get plenty of fluids (water mainly).

Hi Angela :) Most definately sinus related whether it's from sinusitis or allergies. When my allergies are at their worse, I get that sensation with my eyes as well. Mine is also a combination of dry eye/allergies. Right now, I use Systane for dry eye and it helps relieve the symptoms but I have also used Pantenol in the past which helped as well. Have you tried any otc allergy meds to help with allery eyes?

Hi, I have severe sinus issues..and am at a complete loss.  I have constant infections, despite surgery, allergy treatments, diets, relaxation, everything that is available.  I am seeing a neurologist this Thursday..dont' know how he can help me.

     Angela, Yes I do know what your talking about. Believe me. I have had Chronic Sinus Problems since I was a teenager. I also get pains in the between my eyes, and right behind my eyes also. So I can relate to alot of what your saying. It sounds like an developing sinus infection. I just got over an sinus infection, and the only indication was a cough. A little facial pressure. That was I don't have much Allergy situations, but alot of problems with my sinuses. Thinking of someday possible having sinus surgery. But have no idea if that would help alot. What I have found helpful is those Sinus Rinses. You can get them at Target, Synders Drug, problably most pharmacies. They help the sinuses. Not a cure but definetly an improvement. So hope that helps a little.
