Itching

Can anybody help me? I recently caught some kind of horrible itching condition that I recently picked up in my last place of residence. It is at worst when I am in bed and some times continues on through out the day though not as bad and mosly when I am near heat. Please note it is definately not scabies. I have been to the doctor and taken quite a few treatments for scabies and it does not work, it does stop the itching for a night or two but it ALWAYS comes back. This started in an apartment I rented out in Withington and I have taken it with me to my new address. If I wash all the bed clothes it stops for two days then it will always come back please note it is not bed bugs either. I have gone to a skin specialist and he gave me some antihistamines which I have started taking yesterday but they dont seem to be doing anything yet i will keep you posted on this. Whatever this is it is incrediblely annoying. If anyone has experienced this please let me know I really need it to stop.

IT COULD JUST BE AN IRRITATION FROM NOT DRYING IN THE BODY CEASES.I HAD TERRIBLE GROIN ITCH BY NOT DRYING AND POWDERING PROPERLY....TOOK MORE C ARE AND CONDITION PASSED.....GROOVEY

I wish I had an answer for you.  It sounds like you've been on the antihistamine 3-4 days now.  If you haven't seen any relief, you may want to call your doctor back.  They can sometimes give you a pill that is for itch/anxiety that will help the itch until the antihistamine kicks in.  I know it can drive you crazy.  It could be this is not the right antihistamine for you.
