nono  hi its groovey...realised I HAD NOT INSTALLED A SUBJECT TITLE...so I want to say get in contact and together we will beat this disease....I aint gonna let it rule my life and neither should you .....breathe easy GROOVEY.

hi red 34 I AM CHRONIC ASTHMATIC AND JUST GOT TIRED OF MY ASTHMA GETTING CONTROL OF ME AND I DECIDED TO TAKE CONTROL OF IT.HAVE GOOD DAYS AND BAD BUT TRY TO FOCUS ON THE GOOD AND BUILD ON THE ON THE
POSITIVE.nOT USED NEBULISER FOR 6 MONTHS AND ONLY HAD ONE MINOR ATTACK WHEN I HAD A ROTTEN COLD. MY DOCTOR IS SO PLEASE WITH THE IMPROVEMENT I HAVE MADE AND EXERCISE AND BREATHING REGIME I HAVE ADOPTED THAT SHE HAS ASKED ME TO PASS ON MY WAYS OF CONTROLLING MY ASTHMA TO OTHER PATIENTS...THIS IS GREAT AND GIVEN ME A REAL BOOST...I FEEL I AM HELPING OTHERS AND NOT FOCUSING ON ME ALL THE TIME...WE CAN CONTROL IT...NOT TOTALLY BUT SIGNIFICANTLY BREATHE LONG AND HARD AND BE POSITIVE....GROOVEYXX

That is truly awesome Groovey. I am so happy you have found ways of controlling your asthma. And even more happy that you can pass on invaluable information to others. I know if I have a good way of controlling things and I offer my suggestions to someone else that works that it makes me feel good. So keep up what you're doing!

Ps. easy on the CAPS when posting - it's considered yelling in the cyberworld :)

Hi everyone and to "groovy" read your post-- and agree! I'm new to the forum and fighting this COPD and found you guys because I was searching for others to promote relief for asmatics and COPD sufferers, current searchs and issue is to keep Primetine on shelves and take HFA out and put CFC back because Albuterol is useless as a "rescue" without it and not as helpful as the OTC Primetine, now thats ridiculous!

hi gumdrop...sorry to hear you have COPD...can you explain what premetine and albuterol are used for.In UK we use symbicort as a preventer and ventolin as a reliever...we do not have xoliar available at the moment Both are very effective incontrolling my asthma and along with loratide to control the allergies life is so much better.I visit my asthma doctor every 3 months and have blood tests to check on medication effects on kidneys, liver and blood counts...peak flow and blood pressure and colesterol levels.....gives me such a feeling of security...and if the results are good I feel on top of the world....take care grooveyxx
