Meg, I am so sorry you lost your furry friend, that is sad. Hugs to you sweetie.  You can vent here anytime.

kota, I saw a wood-chipper on ebay, want me to bid on it for ya?  Lol. We have a log splitter to keep us in firewood. Maybe a trip to SoDak would warm you up some. yeah yeah yeah

I love the smell of goodies baking away in the oven.  The snowflakes big as pancakes. You and Cait have a fun day.

I am spending the week-end with the log splitter guy and watching Season 2 of "House" . Just cold here, no snow.

I've just spent last months wages booking a holiday out to somewhere specifically with snow and some mountains to slide down!

I can bake some things....my hubby and maybe both kids are driving 70 mi. to watch his nephew wrestle...uff'da. Me going to stay where it is warm. Hugs and stay warm. Peace. Kota

Aww Kitt, can I buy some snow too you minnesota minx!! I could melt it and have a fish pond again, or just throw it at my noisy neighbours and freak them out.

Lyn, thanks for hugs, and kitt you too, I'm coping better today and have made a lovely little cross for my kitty..

Who is this log-cutter guy...a fantasy or can he bought also??

Kota, I can send you a recipe for my anzac cookies, they are incredibly gooey and make good weapons to throw at loud kids when they dry out..

It has been a real cold few days here wind chill factor in the 30's and below
Staying in the house doing alot of arguing with family naturally ...lol

Cait and I baked up a storm and now the CD is acting up over all the fighting with in family
Thanks for looking after things Kitt and Wen not really in right frame of mind to be posting alot

Have to help self first ya know .........Be back on in the am fresh and alert I hope
Kicked Brothether to the curb friday after catching him in many LIES thing I will not and DO not tolerate from anyone especially family

Haha. Just spent all my money on a trip to the French alps, so no money left over to import my own snow. :-)

I live in southern England, which isn't great if you're a skier!

LOL Chris we have Afton Alps................you would probably call them Afton Bumps in the flat land.  But we have a ski resort there.

I would choose your alps first. I loved London, been there once and the weather was gorgeous in October.

Hi all, I'm still waiting on that snow to break this drought.  I keep having to fish ants out my coffee/water cooler/lunch beacuse they are so thirsty they will jump in anything water based.  Poor litle suckers.

Lyn, sorry your brother was lying, glad you caught him out..need any help with the kerb kicking...muscle meg at your service :-)

Hope you are all staying warm, you can laugh at me in oh, say six months when I'm sitting here rugged up like a mountain goat.

ARGH Pregnancy is so boring.  I could sleep forever I say! LOL I get tired so early yet can sleep for 12 hours.  Is that normal?

My panic has seemed to calm down a bit since the psychiatrist upped the dosage of my Ativan...

I also slipped and fell on the ice in my driveway a few days ago and hit my arm but it's better now.. I was bawling!  I couldn't get up ... my lil preggo self was just sliding around on ice trying to get up...

Winter is so FUN when it's -18 Degrees Fareinheit outside.... NOT lol

Did you know over the past couple days it's been colder here in Minnesota than it is in SIBERIA!!! WHAT KIND OF STATE DO ME AND KITT LIVE IN? lolol

Well at least you Minnesota girls have trees...on da prairie of Nodak there isn't much for trees...aack! I believe today is -20 - -30 w/ windshield. Wishing ya'll a warm and cozy day. Send heat all of those living in the south or australia:) Hugs. Kota

Just for you Kota, from the Minnesota Crew  yeah yeah yeah yeah

A NoDak man got a job with the Minnesota highway department painting lines down the center of the highway. The supervisor told him he was expected to paint two miles of highway a day, and the man started work the next day. The first day the man painted four miles. The supervisor thought, "Great." The next day the man only painted two miles but the supervisor thought, "Well, it's good enough." But the third day the man only painted one mile and the Boss went out to talk to him. He said, "Is there a problem? An injury? Some reason you keep painting less and less highway?" "Well, I keep getting farther and farther from the bucket."

The wind has picked up so now it is even colder than cold..........Jon where do you live, I am a moving there.

One fireball on it's way my friend Kitt...in fact you can have all have one, my present to you all!! (really, I don't want them!!).

We never get snow where I live, in some other states yes, up large mountains but not in my land.  It never gets below freezing here, just above boiling lol :-)

Twiggy, you still a beachball in waiting (hugs) ?? I can't knit any mittens but I could crotchet a koala for you. 

Family guy..hooray for small triumphs indeed, we got three sprinkles of rain last night..i share you sense of accomplishment!!
