cymbalta, klonopin and buspar

Ive been on cymbalta for about 5 weeks and have been on klonopin for sometime and the p-doc just added buspar and im still not feeling the greatest how much longer will it take before im feeling good also has anyone been on these meds before if so what type of side effects did u get from taking any of theses meds and how long did they last. Hey Sue,

Hi this is Kitt............on the Ad's they usually recommend you give them a fun 6 weeks and maybe even 8 weeks. What is your dose of cymbalta ?  Losts of the members have used Klonopin and buspar is not one I am real familiar with.

I use cymbalta at 60 mg per day.  I was as high as 120 mg a day but got into some not so good side effects at that high of a doze.

I'm currently on Cymbalta and I used to take buspar.

IMHO the Buspar did "nothing" for me, but it does work for some (I took it for about 3 months)

Im taking 60 mgs of the cymbalta and .5 mgs of the klonopin and for another week i will b taking 7.5 mgs 2 times a day of the buspar then I will go up to to 15 mgs 2 times of day of the buspar so im hoping it will work I would love to come off of the klonopin but dr said i would have to do that very slowly. My daughter is on Cymbalta and Lamictal and has had very good results with those two. I just started Klonopin along with several other drugs I take. My doc switched my over to it from Xanax as he says it is longer acting. So far it seems fine.

Good luck! Med adjustments are always frustrating and irritating!
