Pristiq for anxiety

Has anyone used Pristiq for anxiety? Have you had luck, none, etc?

I haven't heard of it before. I'll be interested to know how it works!

Pristiq is the new hybrid of Celexa.  I do know there are several members on here that use it.  It is very expensive so if your insuarnce company does not have it in thie formulary you will be paying any where from $9.00 - $12.00 a capsule.

Does it work?  I think it depends on the individuals response to it.

I take pristiq for anxiety because when i went to start on effexor(the same makers of pristiq) everytime i took a effexor pill my throat felt funny, so my doctor switched me to pritiq. I like it I feel good. I still have a little anxiety, but im going to work on that with my doctor and get through it. I also take a multivitamin from and organic foodmarket and i think that has helped me. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I take Pristiq and I feel much better. I still use ativan for a rescue anxiety pill but the Pristiq has really helped me. I had no side effects.

I would recommend someone ask their dr about if if they feel the current meds are not working. Different people are different but I am glad we used Pristuq.

Thanks for your response. The dosage I was given was 60 mg which seems VERY high. Do you have any side effects-weight gain, nausua etc... How many MG are you on?

I have never taken an anti d/a drug so I am leary...not sure I need one still.
