Congratulations Shia for staying in the moment and providing practical support and staying as calm as possible in a really tricky situation. you should be very proud of yourself for not letting your fear control you. you said the fear was related to calling 911 for your mum and sister- so maybe you have Post Traumatic Stress?
whatever the situation, know that you did a good thing and helped people at a really tough time!!

Wow Shia,
That took a lot of guts on your part to help them and having to put your A/P aside like you did, but you still got the guts to do as needed and you did a great job of it helping your neighbors out like that (great job Shia)
I hope all is going to be ok with him

Shia,
You did a wonderful thing for this family, and managed to do it all through your anxiety. You should be very proud of yourself and I'm sure the family you helped is extremely grateful. Just allow the feelings to be there for now, it will pass!
about him having a stoke
I know they would not do that here in Ontario
