BAD DAY!!!!

It's already is a bad day, can't get over this feeling of anxiety and dizziness, I'm trying real hard to fight it, positive talk, focus on cleaning my house, but it's here again and again. It always ruins my day, my life, my everything. I can't kick it. Every pain,I think I have cancer or another funky illness, every feeling in my body is a negative one. I wanna cry!!! I'm going to cry . Why can't I focus on Christmas. Oh please let me have one good day. The sadness inside me, I want to sing christmas tunes, bake cookies, smile. It's so hard to do when this feeling kicks your butt. I think if I could get a clear answer to my dizzy/off balance problem I would have some relife. I want to take a happy pill!!!! But I can't. I want to see snow, but I have a crappy rainy day here. I could go on and on but I don't want to ruin everyone elses day. Sorry if I did. Thanks for letting me vent. I read back my post and I sound pathetic. I really do. I'm gonna go clean and try to sing and smile. Wish me luck.

Oh dear Holly Girl, I am sorry you are going through this.  You have a great screen name for this time of year.

I can relate to how you're feeling.  Fortunately, this day I feel fine but last weekend I was down with anticipatory anxiety.

Can you go for a walk, exercise indoors, or watch a light holiday movie?

I am sorry that you're having a rough day.

It's sounds like you're fighting guilt and grief about being low today; that's a battle I fight some as well. Even though it can't make the day better, try not to blame yourself for being anxious. You didn't ask for it, you're not trying to perpetuate it, in fact, you're trying to do the things that make it go away. So even though it seems to be beating you up today, that's not your fault, and you don't need to feel guilty or like you're doing something wrong.

Grieving for what you wish you could do, or what you used to be able to do is hard on you as well. It is sad to compare sometimes, so try to fend off those low thoughts by noticing what you ARE able to do, even though you feel really awful today. You said you're cleaning. I'll bet you I could not even drag myself off the bed if I were having a bad anxiety day, let alone do something productive like clean ANYTHING anywhere in the house. So try to chalk up even a tiny little positive mark for what you are accomplishing, rather than giving yourself "demerits" for what you can't do today.

Hi Holly Girl, I am so sorry you are feeling so down today. I hear where you are coming from. It is not easy to smile when you feel like crying. I wish you peace and that you feel better in the new year.

I'm glad you got things accomplished in the store, and that you didn't feel so dizzy and messed up as at home. Do hang onto the positive feelings!

Holly have you had your ears checked out by a doctor? the dizziness and loss of equilibrium can be a symptom of inner ear problems, i know thats been the case for me.

 I also take Stemetil for dizziness/vertigo etc.

Thanks again for being there. I wanted to let you know I got my ears checked twice, one time from a top doc in philadelphia who specializes with inner ear problems, I got every test you can take and passed with flying colors. The top doc said it was my neurons that aren't crossing right and to do vestibular therapy, I did , it helped alot, but whatever I have i have to try to accept it. I was giving meds for meniers and other ear problems, but didn't do a thing.  Its something I gotta accept, I can't heal if I don't.I was on xanax and I really think they messed me up in the brain. No proof but  I have talked with people online who have gone through the same thing. And they also took benzos, ativan,xanax,valium. But there is no proof so I can't totally blame the meds. although I improved when I stopped them. I hope everyone had a great holiday.
