I got the job...........whooo hoooo

Dear Family,

As you know I have struggled ever since I retired from my retirement from nursing.

Today I was hired by our city school district to be a substitute RN at the schools in town.  I think I am  pretty excited............I know it may not be a lot of hours but I will be doing what I love and that is nursing.

I do have some manuals I have to read to get back up to date as in the 3 years I have not been doing hands on nursing.............some things have changed. I also have to do an orientation at all the schools in town.  We have 5.  So I will be scheduling thems ASAP.

I will still be here but maybe not quite as much.  Your prayers have helped me get to where I could go and feel good about myself....smiles..........

But I got the Job

thats great skitt, that sounds like a great job summers off too, i wouldn't mind trying to get a job at the school so i wouldn't have to worry about little ones, so i would be off when there off, but i'm so happy for you.

A great big huge teedy bear hug to all...............I am excited.  I finally after 3 years of feeling down am feeling very lucky today.  I have a casual job and it won't over extend me physically but it is in the area I love so much, helping people.

thank you , thank you.........it feels so good to know I am going to be out taking care of the children when they need me.

I am doing cart wheels down the street.  Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaa.  And yes they are going to pay me to..........
