Hi Family- hope we are all doing super well and staying mentally strong and fit! today's question is based purely on curiosity- so here we go:

"Why did you choose your username, and does it have particular significance?"

 

My username is Mazfire- Maz has been my nick name since i was a kid, and 'Fire' is a reference to a TV series i used to love,

Twin Peaks, which had a line in it- "Fire, walk with me." Ive used Mazfire in every forum or chat or whatever since i was a teenager- I would happily just use Maz, but its always taken by someone else! so Mazfire it is, but Maz is way easier!

Hello A/P Family :)

I use the name Green Grove because it is the name of our family farm and business. It was a name that my grandmother coined years before I was born due to all the evergreen trees and bushes we have at home. Having to take out a few of them the past few years due to storms has been sad. It is so nice in the wintertime to look at the window and see so much greenery around us. Very peaceful :)

My dad, who passed away almost 15 years ago, always called me Junebug when I was growing up.  My middle name is June and I was born in June.  I love to use it as my screen name as it makes me think of him.

because i live in a town where a fish is our mascot/icon. they built big fish in middle of roundabout for £500000 at the time i joined here. Also its a song my sublime about a guy having a bad night out even all his friends are having a good time. This is best roll call ever ;P

Mine is silly. My first name is Julie, and my birthday is October 12 (10/12.) When I tried to register as Julie1012, they said it was taken, and offered me Julie1014. There you go!

My nickname comes from what my Grandbabies call me. I don't like grandma, so it started out as Nana but my oldest daughter who rarely calls me Mom (use to call me Minka, Marna-doo etc), and always makes up nicknames for everyone morphed Nana into Nanners. I really like it alot because it is unique. You don't hear too many grandchildren calling their grandma Nanners.

Mine is.... semi-based off an anime (Japanese cartoon) called Dragonball Z.... The Saiyans, a super powerful humanoid warrrior race (with monkey tails), are one of many aliens in the DBZ universe... They're usually named after vegetables...

Vegeta (vegetable) Napppa (type of cabbage) Radditz (raddish) Kakarot (carrot), Brolli (brocolli), etc.

So... I thought to myself.... Hmm... If I was a Saiyan, what would my name be? The first thing that popped into my head was Celery.... so I just zapped the 'r' into oblivion and became... Celey! YAY! I also have a habit of adding the_Ego after Celey... because I like boasting about how cute and intelligent I am... BWHAHAHAHAHA!

I love freezinginUK response.  Made me laugh.  I love reading about everyone's names.  Sooooo much fun.  Gives some insight to each of us.

Mine is simple, I love the ocean (even though I live in the Midwest USA and nowhere close to any ocean at all), anyway have seen the ocean in Holland and flying over it to Europe and love the beach and it is one of the most relaxing things for me to visualize when meditating is the ocean so hence my name.
