I'm going to have to stop the 2 cups of morning coffee.
I'm too anxious. Darn.
Woke up at 4am worried about my son. Need to let go and
let the Great Spirit handle situations that I have no control over.

Very wise decisions..the serenity prayer idea is great..maybe in times of anxiety u could switch to decaf coffee?

hey, red. i had to stop the caffeine, too:( i really missed my morning coffee until i discovered decaf chai lattes! now i start my day with one..hmmm..they are so good, i don't miss coffee anymore :-)

i love what you said, too, about letting the Great Spirit handle things..i need to remind myself of that a lot more often. thank you so much for saying that.

I've had to do the same thing. I switched to decaf but I can't add sweetener any more either. Strangely, other coffee drinks (like a Frappuccino from Starbucks) don't make me anxious.

Ok beginning decaf tomorrow...what's a tasty brand for a regular coffee maker? Thanks guys!

Good Morning,

I only drink coffe out at a restaurant or my occasional caffe mocha from Star Bucks.  However I am a diet coke freak.  Less caffeine and I can drink a can of Diet Coke and go right to sleep.

My hubby mixes half decaf beans and half caffeine beans, grinds his own and has a canister with a couple of days worth ready to go.

I like Seattle's Best brand but there are many less expensive, one is Eight O'Clock Coffee.  This brand has been around since 1859........yes I did mean 1959.  :)  Walmart carries it.

Well that is my 2 cents worth this morning.

Most coffees are not true decaf; be sure to check the label. I know that Folgers has one of lowest concentrations of caffeine in decaf coffee. It's what I use; tastes just fine. The others do have significantly less caffeine, but they still contain some.

I cant start my day without my two strong coffees and 2 smokes!!! I shake like hell after them but I guess it gets the heart pumping for the day....I know I need to change to decaf but I am always looking for ways to keep the weight off so I sacrafice sometimes sanity for weight. Catch 22 really. gillxx

I can not take caffeine much at all :) I am a huge water person and I'll have a soda every so often for a persistant headache.
