Morning Family. I collect things. lots of things, and i have hobbies, which keep me distracted when im all stressed out, so this leads me to today's question:

"do you collect anything, if so what? and what are your fave hobbies?"

 

I collect scarves, Converse all star sneakers, Vintage jewellery, books- usually 1st editions of the classics where possible and cd's. i have at least 500, none of which are burnt. I love trolling around op shops, antique shops and thrift stores. I have a large collection of bags- particularly "Emily the Strange' bags.

Now my hobbies are reading and writing, photography, playing the piano- and sleeping! rolleyes

Now how about you?

I collect chrome parts for my Harley Davidson.  cool   Also designer scaves and purses.

Hobbies = my grandchildren.

Collect magnets when we go overseas.

My hobbies are hanging out with my bubs and hubby and friends, snorkelling, travelling, walking, scrapbooking (have just started on my daughters one, yay!!), reading. Oooh and love the Playstation Buzz Junior games!! Love the kiddy games like that ;-)

I collect comfy beds and fun toys for my cats.  >^..^<

I have no hobbies anymore.  Hard to have hobbies with so many kitty chores!  :o)
I love my cats.

I'm moving in March so any collections I have I'm selling on Craigslist or giving away.

Hey all!!!

I collect so much stuff that I think I'm starting to collect collections, lol :) I really like my oriental stuff, country/primitive Americana, African art, candle holders, lamps, clocks, books, etc :) I can't list it all or we would be reading this until the next roll call :)

I collect shot glasses from around the country and from around the world. My wife and I have friends that travel a lot and we have friends all over the country so I have amassed quite a collection. The last time we cleaned the hutch I keep them in I counted them. I have well over 500 of them and of course with a/p I dont use any of them. I found that when I drink my heartrate goes up considerably and that adds to the anxiety so I try to refrain. As far as hobbies go I build and restore cars and trucks....mostly classic vw bugs and karmann ghias. my son and I also enjoy riding dirtbikes whenever we can. I dont mind a little adrenaline pumping thru the veins. The whole family enjoys christian rock concerts. We go whenever we can.

Designer Clothing and shoes I never even wear or can afford.
And a receint collection of alot of cigarette butts!...haha again!

Well Heaps in the past but no so many now... I would like to say..Dirt bike riding..Sky diving..absailing and climbing the highest mountains peaks in the winter months! Mind you I have never done any of them. haha! But at the moment I am keeping quiet..Safer that way for the time being anyway. Im usually on the computer, at work or on the couch!! Cant't wait for underbelly to start again!!

Books, books, books, books, books.

Now, there is lots of other "stuff" around the house that collects on its own, but...LOL (I'm way too bad of a pack-rat!)

Oh, and is it really collecting that I have bags and bags of clothes that I'm way too large to ever wear again?  :)

I collect books too, percy.  I also collect craft stuff, supplies for painting, scrapbooking, sewing, any kind of craft stuff...love to have it around for when the creative spirit moves me.  I like to collect old sewing items too, I have alot of pieces that were my grandmothers.  I also collect glassware, crystal bowls, trays, glasses, etc.

My hobbies are reading, crafts, writing, painting, and gardening.

Hi All,
Good topic. I collect audio book, cds, and anything to do with dogs such as statues a stuffed dogs, as well. I also have a great collection of snowmen. My hobbies are walking , listening to nusic, and reading. I do some knitting from time to time.

I collect angel pins.  My departed mother liked angels and I would buy angel knick knacks for her.  Now I limit myself just to the pins because they are small and easy to display.  Whenever I see them I think of my mother. 

My hobby is entering sweepstakes - every day.  I've won a trip to Cancun, a trip to Miami to a NASCAR race, and plane tickets that we used to go to Portland Maine.  Those are just the biggest items.   

I also read ALOT.
