I'm sorry to hear that you are having discomfort in your back and chest. I don't have problems with these symptoms often, but I did pull a muscle in my back a few years ago, and I found that being in water (pool, ocean, large tub!) helped alleviate the pain due to the gravity issue, I guess it just took the pressure off my back for a little while. I'm not sure if these is feasible for you, but if so, maybe it would help relieve some of the pain. I sure hope you start feeling better soon!
