My sister is dead! I'm in shock!!

I just got word that my sister passed away yesterday. She ran away on Friday from her home in MO and was found in a park in Seattle Washington by some children yesterday evening. Foul play has been ruled out. We don't have any details as to what exactly happened. We have to get her body back to home for the funeral. She has been ill for some time now, mentally and physically and we just have to wait and see what happened. Please keep us  in your prayers at this difficult time. My niece is her only child and is taking things quite hard.

Its such a shock b/c I talked to her last Wednesday and she was fine. Her boyfriend said that she was reading the book Twilight and it triggered something in her. I dont think she was taking her meds for her schizophrenia and the book blurred with reality. The main character of the book is from that area and I think she may have gone there because of that. There was no sign of visible trama to the body and the coroner said her heart was fine. She had a history of blood clots so the flight from MO to WA could hae cause one. I dont know. It may hae been suicide. We are all in shock. MY niece is her only child and she is a mess, as is my mom. I lost my brother at 43yrs old to a heart attack in 2007, my grandma in 2008 and now my sister. Not sure how much more I can deal with cry

Keep my family in your prayers. I got the call at work and almost passed out. I'm on major xanax right now.

Dee im so sorry for your loss, my mum is schizophrenic and i kno how hard it really can be if she is having an episode.. but I can only imagine what your going through right now. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You have my sincere sympathy and I am so very sorry for your loss.  What a huge loss this is for you and your family.

Am very sorry for your loss.....I lost a daughter to trisomy 18 after two weeks of life...losses are perment but are doable one day at a time....take care of yourtself and learn to cope with your loss....I will pray for you and your family......

I too am so sorry for all that has happened
I know from where you come with loses of loved ones
I have lost 6 in 5 yrs my dad was not so long ago it seems
It really rips you apart
I feel sad for her daughter as well as the rest of your family

My thoughts luv and prayers are with you and yours

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I've lost my sister, brother, and my father all within a few years, so I know how hard it can be.

It's difficult not knowing the reasons why things happen, but try and have faith, and take good care of yourself. You deserve it!

Dee, please keep us posted (if you are up to getting on the computer) and let us know how you are so we can help you as much as possible, so much ((((((((((love)))))))))))) headed your way, i pray you get some answers and some peace. You are a strong, amazing lady and you do NOT deserve this, nor did your sister. Mental illness is just so cruel, whether its AP or schizophrenia.

I recently lost my uncle who was my best mate (he was a paranoid schizophrenic but well medicated and under control) but he helped me when i felt my panic/ptsd/ocd/agoraphobia was stopping me from going on.. i miss the way he understood me, but i hurt for him as schizophrenia is so tormenting.

Oh Dee i am soooo sorry. I believe your sister is at peace. I pray you feel that peace also. much love and hugs and prayers. seriously. as soon as i saw your post yesterday i added you and your family to my prayer diary.
