I'm sorry you're suffering....God knows Panic is awful, I've been dealing with it for years. IMO the best way to deal with it is to find a good psychiatrist/psychologist & therapist ASAP....tell them exactly what happened & is happening and exactly how you feel/felt.
You'll probably be prescribed some medication, which may or may not help but don't get discouraged, some meds work for some, and some don't. I'm sure there's some medicine along with therapy out there that can & will help you.

By the way, if you're reluctant to the whole 'therapist thing', I was too....I felt like it was all BS, but in the end it's been more helpful than most any medication I've taken & I didn't even know exactly why I had my first panic attack/episode, I felt fine before-hand & BAM!, out of nowhere it just happened. Remember, sometimes your sub-conscious(sp?) is VERY powerful.
