Hi Everyone

Well I've had anxiety and panic attacks since I was 8. But since loosing my daughter in 2007 things got 100 times worse. Weird things set me off. Sometimes nothing sets me off. I've always had heart palpitations but recently I'm getting them about 5-6 times a day and sometimes my heart suddenly thumps 3-4 times hard and fast and it makes me cough.

So I went to a cardiologist and I even told them I have anxiety. They did an ekg and listened to my heart tons and said it sounds like stress + Caffeine BUT on the 18th I go and get hooked up to a Holter Monitor that I'll wear for 24 hours and then I'll have a Stress Echocardiogram on the 19th.

Anyway I just kind of wanted to introduce myself. I'm melissa, I'm 24 I have 2 living children, 1 angel and my dh and I have been married since 2003

First off I LOVE your screen name. And I do want to welcome you to our anxious little corner of the world. We have alot of friendly and supportive folks trying to live with the condition. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you Kitt, Gail, and Lacey! I've been trying to do some things without the help of medication. I'm taking a yoga class and Tai Chi 2 times a week. And it helps me immensely on those days.
