Do you get dizzy / lightheaded on a daily bases from axienty . I seem to get more dizzy when i am away from my home . I dont know if its all in my head our am i actually getting dizzy . I have great pressure in my head when my axienty start . I am going on the 10th of this month to get a CT ran on my head due to the fact i have a tumor in my Salivary Gland and he wants to make sure there is no more and to make sure there is nothing else wrong due to the fact i keep low grade headache daily . I think my headache are from me just over thinking of my what ifs ? I am always scared to have an attack . But the Doctor is gonna see if i have Vertigo as well to see if thats what is causeing my dizzy feeling .
Would love to hear what everyone else has to say cause i am going out of my mind Trying to figure out all this !!

I am not sure if when I am anxious if it is dizzyness I experience or more of a weakness. I usually stopped eating when my anxiety hit, and I would get really weak. I know that doesn't answer your question, but just wanted to give you some comparison. Good luck!

I have some problems with dizzy spell and I am not always sure what causes it.  If my anxiety is running high I may feel a bit dizzy but I know my pulse rate is up and I am just in increased anxiety mode.

I use antivert if I feel dizzy after taking my meds.

I am glad to hear your physician is doing a CT of your head.  Try to stay in the moment and do not over think the test.  You will make it through.  Prayers and hugs to you.

I also get dizzy spells. But its more like a sudden woosh and the world spins real quick. But happens once. Its not like I feel dizzy for any amount of time it just comes on lasts like a second (enough to set off an anxiety attack).

But mine are do to allergies. I get pressure in my forehead (eye brow level), cheeks and chin area. I don't suffer from the normal allergy symptoms. Runny nose, watery eyes,etc. So I have to wait for the pressure before I know my allergies require me to take my med. Sometimes the dizzy spell kicks in before I notice the build up in my sinuses. It was never fun getting these spells while I was at work.

Allestaria that sounds just like me ... the pressure in the forehead and etc . What do you take for it ? Is there any over the counter meds that help ? I so stongly believe if i could get my dizzyness undercontrol my axientys would go away alot more . I have the attacks when i get dizzy cause it scares me so much .

Jenny,

I mentioned in my post  Antivert is the drug of choice OTC for dizziness. Dramamine may also be used.  However I would see you physician if this continues to be a problem for you as other illness have dizziness as a sx.

I take zyrtec 10mg as needed. I don't have to take one everyday. Just 2 times a week.
The only side effect is dry mouth. But other then that it works great. A 30 day supply lasts me for quite some time.

And yes to me it sounds like you have a sinus problem. One way to check (how the doc does).

Press on your eye brows. If it hurts or you feel phlegm in your throat. You most likely have allergies. My problem is the fact my sinus don't drain. Instead they get compacted and causes dizzines and headaches.
But at your eye brow level is 2 sinus pockets along with just under your eye bone. If you take your thumb and press firmly you will either have a discomfort from the pressure. Or you will get drainage into your throat.

yes I know kinda gross but that is how my doc checks my status every time I go in.

Doc and I have to keep an eye on it because it can lead to sinus infections. Which if not handled properly can lead to surgery. So I keep a very close eye on mine. And he taught me how to do it. (mentioned above). If I get to much drainage or pain instead of discomfort I have to go see him for stronger meds.

But check it and see. If it is the case yes visiting the doc to make sure no reactions to the meds your already taking and to get a verifaction.
A lot of doctors over look this simple test and say its vertigo.

maybe have bp checked jenny, could be a number of things though, getting up to fast can result in some dizziness to. but consult your doc.

I check my BP on a almost daily bases and its always normal . I thought that was it at first but it wasnt. But thank you for bringing that up .

I have this vertigo like feeling also. Its not so much as being the lightheaded fainting kind of dizzy, I just have a tendency to feel off balance. I thought it was because I need to wear my glasses because the vertigo feeling seemed to be caused by my eyes ( if that makes sense). My doctor had me do a test where I had to touch my nose then touch his finger and some other things and that was supposed to see if I had any neurlogical issue end he said since that was negative there was no need for a scan of my head. I also have a low grade headache from time to time but it feels like tension. I also noticed that the vertigo intensifies when I'm in a crowded place or the market. Now that I have a new doctor I'm going to have him check again because this really bothers me and when I feel dizzy it throws me into a panic attack also. Well I know I kinda rambled as I always do but I hope this makes you feel a little better.

My allergies get worse in crowded places because of everyone colonge and perfume. Same with at our local market. To many flowers. I'm best at home with little ventalition to the outside world..lol So I have 2 windows open. 1 in the kitchen and one in the computer room but that one has a fan blowing out so I don't get the yucky coming in.

And like you Nelle I guess you can say its an eye thing. The world kinda goes whoosh in front of me. But its very short. Rather annoying to say the least.
