burning mouth and denture cream

i have burning mouth .there has been a lot of talk about denture cream giving you zinc poisioning, i am wondreing if it caused my burning mouth, has anyone else with burning mouth used a lot of denture cream?

I have never heard of this either.

Do you have anxiety or is this a general question re your mouth burning?

Bobbieoma, One possibility is something called commonly Geographic Tongue and I had a really bad case of it once.  The burning feeling was in the cheek areas, but especially the tongue and the tongue eventually became swollen as well as turning red, white and blue.  I'm serious.  A mouthwash with alcohol or mint was very painful as well as most touthpastes.  There are products, such as Biotene mouthwash and toothpaste, that are easier on the mouth, but you may want to see an ENT who can prescribe a medication that you apply to the sensitive areas and it helps a lot.  Good luck.

toothpaste is in green as it was highlighted as one of the inline ads........if you roll over it with your mouse you will see an ad............ devil . The HW system highlights certain words automatically.

Another of the mysteries of life solved.  I was wondering about the green words.  Apparently the computer didn't recognize touthpaste in the previous sentence.  Stupid computers.
